I am a coursework student, when will I have completed my course?
You will know that you have completed your course within 7 working days of being able to view all your results for the subjects you completed in your final semester. When you have completed your course you:
- Will see the course completion noted on your free Statement of Results;
- Will receive a free digital copy of your academic transcript via eQuals;
- Will receive email confirmation of your eligibility to graduate.
Course completions can only be finalised and recorded once results for all the subjects you have undertaken as part of you course have been finalised. (for example, if you received special assessment, your course completion can only be recorded once the special assessment result is finalised, and all course requirements have been met).
Student must complete:
the total points requirement of their course (e.g. 300 points for the Bachelor of Commerce, 100 points for a concurrent diploma)
any minimum points requirements for each year level, and
any other requirements specified in the course entry in the University Handbook (e.g. completion of core subjects, completion of a major, etc.)
For students undertaking a concurrent diploma, course completion cannot be recorded until the requirements for both the degree and the diploma have been met. If you have subjects you wish to cross-credit to complete your course please submit an Enrolment Variation.
Graduate Coursework Students
Students must complete the total points requirement of their course (e.g. 100 points for a Graduate Diploma), including all core components and any capstone requirement. See the University Handbook for course requirements.
