Credit points
What are credit points?
The workload of most undergraduate and graduate coursework courses is represented using a points system. The point value of a subject reflects the overall time you are expected to allocate to that subject, including class contact hours and private study time.
The credit point value of each subject can be found in its entry in the University Handbook.
See the How to plan your course page for information on how the credit points system is used in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
