How many points are my subjects worth?
Subjects are usually worth 12.5 credit points. However they can range anywhere between 6.25 credit points and 100 credit points. Please consult the subject's Handbook entry to ascertain how many points the subject is worth.
Generally speaking, the number of points that a subject is worth is related to the workload involved in taking the subject. For example, the workload involved for a 25 point subject would be expected to be roughly double that of a 12.5 point subject.
If you have questions about course planning and balancing your points, you should contact Stop 1 for assistance.
