Can someone else (a proxy) collect confidential documents from the University for me?
Yes, you may nominate an authorised person to collect your academic statements from the University. This person (your proxy) must provide the following:
Option 1
- A signed and dated letter of authority from you that includes your student ID and a statement that authorises the person (proxy) to act on your behalf, and
- A photocopy of your photo ID that clearly shows your signature (i.e. passport or driver's licence) so that the University can verify it against your signature on the letter.
The proxy's own form of photo ID so that their identity as the named proxy can be confirmed.
Option 2
- A power of attorney nominating them as being able to act on your behalf, and
- A form of photo ID (e.g. passport or driver's licence) showing their signature; so that their identity as your named proxy can be confirmed.
If these requirements are not met, the documents cannot be released.
