Go back a stepOnshore Sanctions
What is an Onshore Sanction and how can I remove it?
All international students with a student visa who commence study in a new course at the University of Melbourne will have an Onshore Sanction applied to their student record. Onshore Sanctions will not prevent you from enrolling in subjects and will be automatically removed after you collect your student card (please allow up to one week after card collection).
Please note, hard-copy original passports are the only form of ID that can be used to remove the sanction.
