Go back a stepApplying without results
Can I apply for admission to a course at the University of Melbourne if I have not yet received results for my current studies?
If you are an International student applying direct to the University of Melbourne you are encouraged to apply early and to complete as much of the application as possible at the time of lodgement. Results or additional documents can be added later as they become available.
In some cases you may be required to provide verfication of results statements. We advise you to use certified copies as appropriate for this purpose, except in the case of IELTS or TOEFL test reports where only originals will be accepted by the University.
A certified copy is a copy of the original document with the signature and official stamp of an appropriate authority indicating that they have sighted the original document and that the copy they are signing is authentic.
People who have the authority to certify documents include:
-
Authorised agents of the University of Melbourne
-
Registrars of schools and universities
-
Justices of the Peace
-
Barristers/Solicitors
-
Police Officers
-
Pharmacists
-
Doctors
-
Dentists
