What are the deadlines for subject and course changes?
There are two types of dates that you need to know as a student to keep on track with your enrolment:- Standard deadlines for subject and course changes. These are listed on the Enrolment Dates page of student.unimelb.
- Subject-specific deadlines. These key dates are specific to each subject and may vary for everyone (e.g. subject census dates, last date to self-enrol in a subject, etc.). Subject key dates are listed on each subject entry of the University Handbook. More information on subject key dates is available in this FAQ.
These key enrolment dates as outlined above, impact on when you can make changes to your enrolment. These sorts of enrolment changes include:
- enrolling in subjects
- withdrawing from subjects
- taking Leave of Absence
- withdrawing from your course.
Making changes to your enrolment after these deadlines can impact your fee liability and your academic record. Visit the Changing Subjects Post-Enrolment FAQ for more information.
