Do graduate researchers have to complete research progress review forms?
Yes. Completion of progress review forms is a requirement for continuation of enrolment in your research degree and any scholarships held as listed in the Graduate Research Training Policy.
Sample copies of the graduate research progress review forms that are to be completed by all graduate researchers from all faculties and graduate schools can be found on the Graduate Research Hub.
Graduate researchers should check with their supervisors if any additional progress review forms are required. Some faculties and graduate school and AUSAID sponsored students have additional progress review forms to complete.
The University of Melbourne has standardised progress review forms to be completed by all graduate researchers from all faculties and graduate schools.
PhD/Doctoral candidates are required to complete with their supervisors and advisory committee a progress review form at least annually.
Masters by Research and MPhil candidates are required to complete with their supervisors and advisory committee a progress review form at least every six months.
