How is part-time study defined?

How is part-time study defined?

  • For domestic students, part-time study is less than 37.5 points (3 standard subjects) in one half-year period.
  • For international students, part-time study is less than 50 points (4 standard subjects) in one half-year period. Part-time study for student visa holders is only possible if you have been approved for a reduced study load.

How do I know if I'm recorded as part-time or full-time?

If your enrolment is less than 37.5 points in one semester or half year it is automatically defined as part-time. For more information, visit the Enrolment policy.
