When are my fees due?
Your Statement of Liability lists all fees owing for the year and your payment due dates. To access your Statement of Liability, visit the Fee Information page in my.unimelb. It is recommended that you view your Statement of Liability after enrolling in subjects to check your fees and note upcoming payment due dates.
Your Student Invoice will be issued approximately 4-5 weeks prior to your payment due date(s). You will be notified by email to your University email account when your invoice is issued; instructions on how to access your student invoice via my.unimelb will be included. Please refer to the Paying my Fees FAQ for further information regarding your Student Invoice. Fees due 'immediately' must be paid within 7 days of the invoice issue date.
Tuition fee paying students (excluding Study Abroad, and Community Access Program, and FEE-HELP students)
Your payment due date(s) will vary dependent upon the study period in which your subjects fall and the instalment payment option you have chosen. The due dates for standard and dual instalment payments are published below.
Community Access Program and Complementary Courses
If you're studying under the Community Access Program, your only payment option is the Standard Instalment option. The due date for each study period is listed in the Standard Instalment section above.
Study period due dates for tuition fee payments in 2025:
Standard Instalment Payment: (one payment for the study period)
Dual Instalment Payment: (two payments for the study period)
Study Abroad
Due dates are set according to the half year period in which you are enrolled:
- First Half Year (January to June) - 26 February 2025
- Second Half Year (July to December) - 28 July 2025
Commonwealth Supported students
Your student contribution amounts and the relevant due dates will be listed on your Statement of Liability.
FEE-HELP students
Your Statement of Liability will list your subject census dates. Should you wish to make an upfront payment for each subject, you must do so by the subject census date.
