Enrolling into a concurrent diploma
How do I enrol into a Concurrent Diploma?
You can be admitted to a concurrent diploma course up until the start of the final semester of your degree course. If you are a student visa holder, seek course advice about concurrent diplomas as soon as possible after commencing your degree.
If you are undertaking a concurrent diploma you need to maintain your enrolment for both your main degree and your diploma. This means that for each half-year period (1 January to 30 June or 1 July to 31 December) you must either enrol in subjects for both qualifications or apply for a Leave of Absence from the qualification with no enrolled subjects during that half-year period. If you are a student visa holder, you may only apply for a leave of absence for your concurrent diploma.
If you have completed all subjects required for one of your courses but still need to complete subjects towards your other course, you only need to maintain your enrolment for the course you are still completing.
Can I defer my concurrent diploma?
Please note that it is not possible to defer commencement of concurrent diploma studies.
