Graduation documents and transcripts
All students will receive free digital copies of their academic transcript, testamur and AHEGS upon completion and graduation.

Academic transcript
Your academic transcript is the official record of your studies at the University of Melbourne. Approved scholarships are also included.

Testamur
A testamur is also known as your official graduation certificate, parchment or diploma, and is posted to you after your conferral.

Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS)
The AHEGS describes your higher education qualifications, such as the award, the awarding institution and a description of the Australian Higher Education System.

Updating your contact information
Nominate where you will receive important mail from the University, such as your student card or testamur.
Evidence letters
Letters and statements that can be used to provide various details of your enrolment.

Evidence of Qualification
An official University statement that organisations may request to verify your qualification. It lists all the degrees you have attempted or have been awarded in chronological order of study.

Evidence of Scholarship
A signed document on official University letterhead with your name and scholarship details. Available only for scholarships, bursaries, awards or prizes administered by Scholarships & Bursaries.

Evidence of Enrolment
An Evidence of Enrolment letter outlines all the courses you are currently enrolled in (or were previously enrolled in or withdrawn from) at the University of Melbourne.

Centrelink documents
This statement outlines all the courses you are currently enrolled in at the University of Melbourne and includes your Centrelink Reference Number (student provided).

Statement of results
Your Statement of Results is an unofficial transcript stating your degree, subjects and grades. This statement is only available to current students.

Statement of Enrolment
The Statement of Enrolment is an unofficial record listing the subjects a student was enrolled at a specific time period at the University of Melbourne.

Placement Summary Letter (Education students)
An official, signed statement on University letterhead that details the year, duration and setting of supervised teaching practice for Melbourne Graduate School of Education (MGSE) students.

Student Conduct Report (Law students)
Required for Law graduates who are applying to the Victorian Legal Admissions Board for Admission by the Supreme Court of Victoria to practise law within Australia.

Apostille (also known as Legalisation)
Australian education documents sometimes need to be legalised by the Australian Government before they can be used in a foreign country, involving an 'apostille' stamp.

Requests for completion of third-party forms
The University can complete forms for third parties such as overseas professional registration organisations, other universities, employers or government.
How to verify a student's qualification
If you are an employer or institution looking to verify a student’s attendance and/or qualification, access the free Verification of Qualification service.
If you require more detailed information, or if the degree has been completed but not yet formally conferred, you will need to purchase a Verification of Qualification letter – digital or hardcopy.
