FEE-HELP

What is FEE-HELP?

FEE-HELP is a loan available to eligible students in domestic fee-paying places to help pay for all or part of their tuition fees. The Australian Government sets limits on how much HELP debt you can accumulate.

How do I repay my FEE-HELP Loan?

FEE-HELP loans are repaid through the taxation system. An additional loan fee of 25 per cent applies to loans for undergraduate studies. No loan fee applies to loans for graduate studies. For further information, please visit the Study Assist website.

What is the difference between HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP?

  • HECS-HELP is a loan scheme for eligible students in Commonwealth Supported Places
  • FEE-HELP is a loan scheme for students paying full tuition fees (not in Commonwealth Supported Places)
